Wool See with Kuf Knotz, Deuce Ellis, Mavstar, Faded Flow & More / Oct 18th

The Monkey House / Winooski, VT
Event starts 9:00 pm

Generously sponsored by Switchback Brewing Company – 3rd Thursdays is Vermont’s only long-standing hip-hop showcase. Held down at The Monkey House every month by the venerable DJ Kanganade and hosted by members of the Anthill Collective, the event serves to highlight local and touring acts once a month on the… yeah, you get it.

This month’s show is not to be missed.

We have the incredibly talented Kuf Knotz returning to the Monkey House stage this time accompanied by Christine Elise. Their performances together have been raising roofs around the country and beyond and we are thrilled to have them joining us. Kuf’s upbeat, feel good hip-hop is a refreshing reminder of the roots of our cultural movement.

Also, making his debut 3rd Thursday performance is Deuce Ellis. Deuce is an incredible wordsmith, producer and performer. His 2017 album Electric Ride, created while on a remote island with nothing but psychedelics and his creativity, is taking hip-hop to new places. Deuce is a relentless performer and has been on tour non-stop in 2018. Expect the unexpected.

Returning to the 3T stage, fresh off a tour of his native land in the Pacific Northwest, Wool See, is back with his new album Ewe Gross. Wool See, a.k.a. Iame of Oldominion & Sandpeople, is an always-adventurous one man band and hip-hop deconstructivist. He has been in VT for about a year now and has been constantly cranking out heady, experimental music.

Not to be forgotten, Mavstar, who has just released what is arguably one of the best VT hip-hop albums this year-to-date will also join us. Mav reinvented himself for 2018 and the work he and his family at Equal Eyes Records released is the result.

Finally, returning to the stage, is Faded Flow. His performances are an energetic blast-off every time. He has been rocking stages with the #stiltzgang crew for a few years now and just keeps improving.

It will be a 3rd Thursday to remember.
